Rennsport Collective: Fueling Your Passion

A group of sportscar owners that all like the same flavour of Porsche – be that from the 1950’s or the very latest GT3R. When organising a trackday for these friends, someone said we should open it for the public. And that’s how it started – a trackday at Donington Park circuit in 2019 followed by a relaxed day at Donington House to allow everyone the chance to see the cars.

In 2020, we decided to do it again – this time with an open day at Stowe House. 2020 will always be remembered for the pandemic and it hugely affected our event too – in August it had to be cancelled and in the end we managed to host the day in November – in between lockdown’s. It was very stressful and none of our European, South African or American ‘Collective’ were able to attend.

Since then, we decided to pause on the public events, but it is something we would like to do again. To be honest, to have an annual event is too often - it gets boring, predictable - so we will ensure that these public gatherings are kept special, and not too frequent! Every 5 years or so seems like a good timeframe?

We are considering adding some driving events though – ice driving in Scandinavia, trackdays in Europe, how about a desert adventure through Morocco in purpose-built Cayenne’s, 911 Dakar’s and 911 Safari’s, for example? In 2025, we will also be accompanying one of our Collective as they tackle the Dakar Classic in a purpose-built 911 Safari…

Lots of exciting ideas and maybe we will just throw another public event in for 2025 too – 5 years on from our last.

Who would like that?
