What is The Rennsport Collective?

It is not a club, it doesn’t have a headquarters, it has no joining fee and there is no such thing as a subscription.

It’s a movement, a coalition, a belief in and an enthusiasm for Porsche’s motor racing exploits – an enthusiasm that has led each member to the purchase of a motorsport-inspired car manufactured by Porsche. It could be a race car or a road car  – a 917 or a Cayman GT4. It could be a single machine or a collection of many. It doesn’t matter.

What matters most is the love of Porsche motorsport and the enjoyment of sharing it with like-minded people. On July 20th 2019, we are sharing these cars with everyone that shares this passion. You can buy tickets to this event below, but if you feel your own car (or cars) should be considered for inclusion, please click on the link below. You’ll need to include pictures and a few words to tell us why your car is special. What is its history? What makes it unique and why would people want to see it?

We are already close to capacity, so only those with the best stories or provenance will be included.

Rennsport Collective

This is a special location at Donington Hall, with collections of cars curated by colour not era. There will be a yellow 991.2 GT2 RS next to Tour de France 911 S/T next to a World Championship Winning 993 GT2.

Every 90 minutes or so, the cars will be fired in to life and you will get to see them drive around the Donington Hall ‘circuit’. They have a perimeter road that has been warranted to run motorcycle races – we will use this road to drive the cars round. Seeing the cars is great, but to hear them? That’s special.

  • Colour Curated Car Displays
  • Parades
  • Partner Stands
  • Limited Porsche Parking (120 cars)
  • Under 14’s Go Free

Advanced tickets sales have now been suspended via our website to allow us to meet our postal commitments. Plenty of tickets are still available for purchasing on the day, so we hope to see you all there.

I own a very rare car, can I be part of the Rennsport Collective?

Possibly. Use the link above to submit images of your car(s) and a few words telling us why it’s so special. No promises, but once you’re in you will become part of the private community that is the ‘Rennsport Collective’.

I own a Porsche, will there be dedicated parking?

There will be, but it is limited to 120 cars I’m afraid. These cars will be parked next to the parade circuit so all visitors to the event will be able to see this display too. Only Porsches will be admitted. If you buy a ticket but turn up in a non-Porsche, you will not be allowed to park there. Sorry!

Where is Donington Hall?

Donington Hall is in Castle Donington, very close to the race circuit. The postcode is DE74 2SG. We chose this location because of its heritage and location – it’s  just over 100 miles from North London, Norfolk and the Lake District. We want to make sure everyone gets the chance to see these cars!

Where are the cars from?

The cars are all privately owned. They are coming from the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and the United States. We are excited to bring you some cars you’ll be familiar with and plenty that you wont be.

Where is the event parking?

If you haven’t booked Porsche Parkplatz, then there will be public parking located adjacent at The Priest House Hotel. This is payable upon entry, costing £5.00 per car. This cost goes directly to the owner of the land and will be manned by their own staff. It’s a short walk to Donington Hall.
